Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that provides mental health, intellectual and developmental disability, and substance abuse services to the residents of Williamson, Burnet, Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, and Lee counties in Central Texas. The organization was established in 1997 through a collaboration between the Texas Legislature and local community groups. BTCS operates under the direction of a Board of Trustees, which is appointed by the county commissioners in each county it serves. The organization employs over 800 staff members, including licensed professionals and paraprofessionals, who work together to provide quality, evidence-based services to over 11,000 individuals each year. BTCS offers a wide range of services, including individual therapy, case management, crisis intervention, medication management, vocational and employment services, and residential support. The organization also provides specialized services for children and adolescents, including school-based services and wraparound care. BTCS is committed to fostering a culture of recovery and helping individuals achieve their goals and maximize their potential. The organization works closely with local community groups and government agencies to ensure that services are accessible and meet the unique needs of the communities it serves.
