The Immigrant & Refugee Community Organization (IRCO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, social, and cultural services to immigrants and refugees living in the Portland, Oregon area. The organization was founded in 1976 as a response to the growing needs of local immigrant and refugee communities, and has since grown to become one of the largest and most respected community organizations of its kind in the region. IRCO offers a wide range of services, including English language classes, job training and placement, youth programs, health and wellness services, and legal and immigration assistance. The organization also provides cultural and community events that celebrate the diversity of the communities it serves. IRCO operates multiple community centers and serves over 30,000 clients each year, representing over 90 different languages and cultures.
