The Indiana Conference United Methodist Church (INUMC) is a regional body of the United Methodist Church that oversees Methodist congregations throughout the state of Indiana. Formed in 2009 through the merger of the North Indiana and South Indiana Conferences, it represents one of the largest United Methodist conferences in the United States. The organization serves approximately 1,100 churches and 225,000 members across Indiana. The conference maintains partnerships with several Methodist-affiliated institutions in Indiana, including the University of Evansville and DePauw University. The conference is actively involved in community outreach, disaster relief efforts, and social justice initiatives. It provides resources and support to local congregations while coordinating broader mission work both domestically and internationally through the United Methodist Church’s global connection.
