The International Women’s Forum (IWF) is a global organization founded in 1982 that connects and supports women leaders across careers, cultures, and continents. Based in Washington, D.C., the organization comprises more than 7,500 diverse and accomplished women from 33 nations on six continents. IWF’s membership consists of current and former heads of state, Supreme Court justices, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, government officials, and nonprofit leaders. The organization operates through local forums in cities worldwide, where members engage in programs, events, and networking opportunities. The organization runs several key initiatives, including the Fellows Program, which provides leadership development opportunities for emerging women leaders, and the Leadership Foundation, which focuses on advancing women’s leadership globally. IWF also hosts an annual World Leadership Conference and regional conferences that bring together members to discuss global issues and share insights. Through its programs and network, IWF works to advance women’s leadership across sectors and prepare future generations of women leaders.
