Iowa 80 Group is a privately held company that operates the world’s largest truck stop, the Iowa 80 Truck Stop, located along Interstate 80 in Walcott, Iowa. Founded in 1964 by Bill Moon, the company has grown to become a significant player in the truck stop and travel center industry. The flagship Iowa 80 Truck Stop, nicknamed “The World’s Largest Truckstop,” spans over 225 acres and serves approximately 5,000 customers daily. The facility features multiple restaurants, a trucking museum, a movie theater, laundry facilities, a dentist office, a barber shop, and a large retail store selling trucking supplies and merchandise. Beyond its primary location, Iowa 80 Group owns and operates several other truck stops under the Joplin 44 Petro brand and CAT Scale Company, which provides certified truck scales across North America.
