Lucky’s Market Parent Company, also known as Lucky’s Market Holdings, LLC, is a privately held American company that operates grocery stores under the Lucky’s Market brand. The company was founded in 2003 by Bo Sharon and Trish Sharon in Boulder, Colorado. Lucky’s Market Parent operates grocery stores in 10 states across the United States, including Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, and Wyoming. The stores offer a range of goods, including conventional, organic, and local produce, as well as meats, dairy, and bakery products. Some stores also offer prepared foods, beer, wine, and health and wellness products. In 2016, the company received a significant investment from Kroger, one of the largest supermarket chains in the United States. This investment allowed Lucky’s Market Parent to expand its reach and open new stores in various areas. Despite expansion efforts, Lucky’s Market Parent filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in January 2020 and announced the closing of several stores. However, it was later purchased by a newly-formed subsidiary of the grocery distribution company, Certified Retail Solutions Holding, LLC, which plans to continue operating select Lucky’s Market stores. Today, Lucky’s Market Parent continues to operate stores in several states with a commitment to providing high-quality, affordable groceries and contributing to the communities in which it operates.
