The Port Arthur Independent School District (PAISD) is a public school district in Jefferson County, Texas, United States. It serves a diverse student population of approximately 8,000 students across its 12 schools. The district covers an area of 57 square miles, including the city of Port Arthur and adjacent unincorporated areas. PAISD operates three high schools, two middle schools, and seven elementary schools, as well as an early childhood center and an alternative education center. The district offers a comprehensive curriculum, including advanced academic programs, career and technical education, and fine arts programs.
