Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is an Alaska Native-owned health care organization based in Anchorage, Alaska. Established in 1982, SCF provides health and related services to more than 65,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people living in Southcentral Alaska. The organization operates under the authority of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. SCF provides a wide range of health services, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and traditional healing services. The company also offers a variety of wellness and education programs, such as diabetes and tobacco cessation classes. SCF has received national recognition for its innovative, patient-centered approach to health care, known as the Nuka System of Care.
