In 2015, it merged with another homebuilder, Ryland Homes, to form CalAtlantic Homes. The merger resulted in a company with a presence in 17 states and 41 metropolitan statistical areas. CalAtlantic Homes offers a variety of floor plans and designs to match the preferences and budget of different homebuyers. Despite the acquisition, the company continued to operate under the CalAtlantic Homes brand name until 2018 when it was officially rebranded as Lennar.
