The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, also known as STRS Ohio, is a public pension fund established in 1920 to provide retirement, survivor, and disability benefits for Ohio’s public school educators and their families. The system serves around 500,000 current and retired active educators and staff members from Ohio’s public schools, community colleges, and universities.
