Sunnyside Unified School District (SUSD) is a public school district serving the southeastern part of Tucson, Arizona. The district covers approximately 85 square miles and serves a student population of over 15,000 students in grades K-12 from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic, socioeconomic, and linguistic backgrounds. SUSD operates 20 schools, including 16 elementary schools, three middle schools, and one high school. Sunnyside’s commitment to student success is evident in their key initiatives, which include focusing on early literacy, personalized learning, and college and career readiness.
