Tustin Unified School District (TUSD) is a public school district located in Orange County, California. Founded in 1972, TUSD serves the city of Tustin, as well as parts of Irvine, Santa Ana, and North Tustin. The district operates 19 schools, including 15 elementary schools, three middle schools, and one high school. TUSD currently educates approximately 23,000 students and employs over 2,000 staff members. TUSD is governed by a five-member board of trustees and is led by a superintendent. The district’s mission is to provide a high-quality education to all students, emphasizing the development of critical thinking skills and real-world application. TUSD offers a broad range of academic programs, including advanced placement (AP) courses, career technical education (CTE), and early college high school (ECHS) programs.
